What is a Geriatric Millennial?
A Geriatric Millennial refers to individuals born in the early to mid-1980s, typically between 1980 and 1985. This micro-generation is considered a subset of the larger millennial cohort and is often characterized by straddling the analog and digital worlds, experiencing a childhood without widespread internet access but adapting quickly to its emergence in adolescence. They grew up with evolving technology, witnessed the shift from traditional to digital formats, and experienced a pivotal transition into adulthood during the early 2000s. Geriatric Millennials often share both Generation X and millennial traits, feeling a connection to both cohorts while embodying their unique cultural influences and experiences.
